Customizing file properties

You can open the file properties dialog by clicking:
Menu: Define⁄File properties

This dialog allows you to alter the title of the file and the number of attributes which make up an item title.

The title of the currently active file (along with the filename) is displayed in the titlebar of the program. For example, in the screenshot below, the file title is 'My Personal Addresses'.

But in the screenshot below, the number of attributes which make up an item title is three: 'Name', 'Company' and 'Bus. phone'. All three attributes are all displayed in the left-hand pane (or list pane).

In the second screenshot (directly below), the number of attributes which makes up an item title is only one. Now just the attribute 'Name' is listed in the left-hand pane (or list pane).

The caption of an item, by default is the value of the first attribute in the right pane, usually the name of the person.
The maximum number of attributes being part of an item caption is four. The minimum number is one. Custom Addressbook will intelligently adjust the caption automatically if you leave one or more attribute fields blank.
